Beautiful Red Battuto Vase designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini in 1940. This is a rare original with the two lined acid etched stamp on the bottom of the vase. Hand carved blown glass in all of its glory. It measures a little over seven inches tall and three and one half inches wide. A great investment piece for the discerning collector. I have taken pictures of it indoors and outdoors so that you can see the true deep rich red color that makes it so unique. It has been in my collection of art glass for the last eight years. T are minor scratches to the bottom of the piece due to normal wear as seen in the photographs. The top of the piece is in mint condition! No chips, cracks, or scratches.......just pure beauty. I sell as is, no returns, so look at the photographs carefully. If you have any questions please e-mail me before the end of the auction and I will be glad to answer you. Buyer will pay shipping and insurance at the end of the auction......which will depend on the buyers preferance for shipping after contacting me. I will ship to the U.S. , Italy and Germany only.
