Cenedese Alexandrite Owl Antonio Da Ros This Mid Century Modern Murano art glass owl figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches and was made around 1960. Designed by Antonio Da Ros for Cenedese, it features color changing Alexandrite glass, red blood spots and internal bubbles. Alexandrite glass appears pink, purple, green or gold depending on the light it is in. Two large internal bubbles are placed behind the eyes and appear as the owl's pupils when viewed from the front. Large and very heavy, this owl weight 7.5 pounds and is 6 inches high, 5 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. A RARE vintage murano bird! Please use the shipping calculator for postage amount.
