The inside of this bowl is covered in textured glass produced using hydrofluoric acid and ammonium fluoride in the Corroso method. This was used beginning in the 1930’s by the Venetian glassmakers of Murano and most notably by Scarpa for Venini and Poli for Seguso. The piece has swatches of gold in the glass and a somewhat pearlized rim. It is Italian and likely dates to the early to mid 20th century. It is in very good condition. 10” Diameter3 1/4” Height ZESSTC
