Up for auction is this wonderful Murano bird. The bird stands 9 1/2" tall and he is a very pretty turquoise blue with lots of gold flecks thought out his body and base. I like the way the colors are mixed with air bubbles to create the look of feathers on his body. The base is awash with gold leaf and he has a small black dot of glass to create his eye. He does have one very small flake of glass missing on his beak. You cant see it but you can feel it. It seems to be on the underside of his beak. He would make a good addition to your collection
