This Wm J. Murdock 1914 model loose coupler is in very good overall condition. T are stains on both the coils but they should clean up well. T don't seem to be any broken wires. The secondary coil moves easily in and out of the primary coil.The wood base has several relatively minor dings and scratches on all sides but the top is has only a few minor dings. T are a few minor scratches on the bottom.The black knobs and the brass fittings are in good condition and all work. I have not tested this unit. Sold AS IS.The nameplate says: Wm J. Murdock Co. CHELSEA, MASS San FranciscoWeight: 3 lbs 8 oz Shipping weight: ~ 4 lbs 8 oz.
