You are bidding on a Music-man Axis model in Amber finish. The serial number is G18416 which puts in early 2002 for production time.This a great guitar and in excellent condition for it's age. There is no fret wear to speak of, and the neck has no wear/damage wear at all. The front of the body is very clean which just a couple of very tiny dings which are hardly noticeable (and impossible to photograph). There is some slight tarnishing on the chrome hardware, plus there's a couple of small dings on the rear near the bottom strap button (the flash make these appear worse than they are). There's a couple of slight scratches on the rear as well from a belt buckle, but I think these could T-Cut out. The neck pickup selection on the switch isn't as as tight a it should be, meaning it can slip back to the middle position. A firm shove puts it in place, otherwise it could just be a case of tightening up the switch contacts. That's all the negative points, the plus points are that the quilted maple top is gorgeous and the Birdseye maple neck/fretboard is stunning as well. The guitar plays really well (current strung with 10's in Eb) - you really have to try a gun-oil finished neck at least once, it's superb.
