It was revealed to be the prototype for his new 'Fet Drive' signature overdrive pedal. The MXR Fet Drive was designed by Way Huge creator George Tripps with Joe, the idea was to create a tube-screamer type overdrive which behaved like an amplifier. It sounds superb and works with a wide range of amplifiers and enhances their natural sound, along with providing a killer amp like overdrive all of its own.
