MYANMAR's VERY SCARCE GOLDEN NOC PIN! USED IN BEIJING - 2008!! This is one of the two official pins used by the members of the Olympic Team from MYANMAR who participated in the Summer Olympic Games held in BEIJING in 2008. This beautiful pin is bright gold and decorated in flat enamel. It is similar to the pin used by Myanmar in Athens but more attractive and a bit smaller. Has its original military clutch closure. It features Myanmar's previous NOC logo (royal peacock over the Olympic rings, its flag and NOC logo both changed in 2011) . . . Myanmar's hotly-purused pins are never dated . . . excellent condition. This particular design motif has been used in various ways on several of Myanmar's recent past pins and pins from this tiny Southern Asian team are always very desirable with collectors.
