The TudorMint produced a series of eggs from 1996 and they have become VERY collectable. The detail in these beautiful sculptures is amazing! This one is of a dragon sitting on a crystal in a castle wall. There is a smaller dragon hanging around by the crystal. The eggshell itself is a scene with dragons in a forest and if you look carefully you will find a Pegasus, a small unicorn and fairies too! The Myth & Magic eggs are about 8 cm tall (with the top half of the shell in place), 5 cm wide and weigh about 500 grams. I believe I brought this one from a car boot sale many years ago. It does have its original blue box. The Supreme Dragon, model number 1050 was issued by the Tudor Mint in January 1996 and was retired in December 1999. Designed by Sharon Riley & sculpted by Roger Gibbons. Multiple purchases of my Myth & Magic eggs will earn you a substantial reduction in postage costs.
