I live in New Mexico and have used and collected nambe for many years. These were given to me in the 80's when Donald Wright was designing. They are not seconds. Each ring is stamped on the bottom nambe' W52 c1983. They are very heavy and luxurious and the design is voluptuous. That is the word I would use! They are used but the patina is still like new, not at all tarnished the way nambe gets when it has had lots of use. My opinion is that they do not need repolishing at all. They look great on your table, very unusual, and feel wonderful when you have them in your hand.
