Designed by: Nobuho Miya Manufacturer: Nambu, Japan Morioka is a town, well-known for iron, located in Iwate Prefecture in the northern part of Japan. Due to the ample supply of this resource, the industry became prosperous in this part of Japan in the mid-17th century. Since this area is part of ancient Nambu Domain, ironware made in Morioka is called "nambu-tekki" and is known to the Japanese as the best brand of ironware available. Nobuho Miya's works are simple, but in their simplicity lies grave beauty. The pieces in this collection display a sense of modern while maintaining traditional taste using Japanese motifs. The birds and fish in this collection all have a similar eye structure, a design element that is woven through the entire collection. Payment Payment is due within seven days of auction end. We accept payment through Paypal only. We do not hold items under any circumstances and are not able to take installment payments. We liquidate for a large retail company, therefore must charge sales tax in the following locations: AZ, CA, CO, CT*, DC, FL*, GA*, HI*, IL, KY*, LA, MD, MA, MN*, NJ*, NY*, NC*, TX*, WA*, and WI*. Taxes can not be waived for any reason, including a resellers ID, etc. For further information, see my state tax table in the Shipping & Payments tab located in all of my listings. * Tax is also applied to Shipping & Handling Shipping Domestic shipping: Domestic shipping rates include the continental US only. We are happy to provide shipping quotes to Buyers in Hawaii and Alaska. Please just message us with the item you are interested in and your zip code. Smaller parcels ship via FedEx Home for residential and Ground for business deliveries. Items ship out Monday thru Friday within 2-5 business days after the payment clears. Parcels with a total combined selling price over $500 will require a direct signature by the Buyer. FedEx will send automated tracking info to the e-mail address associated with the Buyer's Paypal account. If you are not receiving these tracking updates, please check your spam filter. Large items ship via AGS Freight or Elite Delivery Systems. Most of items ship via AGS. They pick up freight every Wednesday morning. If payment clears after Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. EST, the item will ship out on Wednesday of the following week (not the following day). Limited items will ship via Elite Delivery Systems and are handled on a case by case basis. Both delivery services provide a basic scheduled freight delivery. Un-boxing/crating and assembly are not provided. The Buyer will be contacted directly by the shipping company to coordinate a delivery window. AGS will contact Buyers via the e-mail address associated with their Paypal account. The Seller will contact the Buyer to request a phone number for all Elite deliveries. Shipping insurance is not offered. The Seller takes responsibility for items damaged in transit. International shipping to Canada: At this time, we can only ship internationally to Canada. All Canadian shipping quotes are handled on a case by case basis. Please just message us with the item you are interested in and your postal code. All items are shipped via FedEx Intl.
