The 33# Namibian Masterpiece .

This is a guaranteed real Namibia, Africa recovered Gibeon. I have included a photo of the original purchase documentation receipt and display tag from "Wonders of the World" in Spokane Washington where I purchased it, / . I asked if there had been any previous owners and they said no, that they had purchased it from African Nationals that had brought it to the US for sale prior to the meteor specimens being banned from export as an African protected natural resource. I purchased this specimen in exactly the same condition as it appears today.

The Characteristics of this truely amazing sample are self evident from the photos and significantly more impressive when viewing in person. The entire piece is "roughly" triangular in shape and the regmaglypts are extremely deep cut on 2 sides with one side even more significantly formed. This specimen shows the most deep cut features surpassing ANY Namibian I have seen, and across what I call the front of the specimen. I placed the baseball next to the piece so this deep "scooped" feature could be viewed more clearly with relationship to its size.

This piece has everything a serious collector would want. It has a distinct orientation, features that equal or surpass ANY other known Namibian specimen, is NOT a candidate for slicing, and is a manageable size for transport, storage and display. It is with great reluctance that I wish to part with it. PLEASE...only serious collectors/bidders should inquire, the price and collectability of a specimen like this is not for idle discussion. It takes someone with real knowledge of meteorites to entertain a purchse of this magnitude.

I absolutely guarantee its authenticity, but I will only do so for 30 days after delivery. I expect to make every possible attempt to deliver this specimen "in person" if it is at all possible, as I think it is prudent the buyer has opportunity to ask me questions face to face. Indeed, if a prospective buyer wishes to view it in person prior to bidding I will do my best to accomodate them.
