Sankaat is pleased to present for your considerarion this Handpainted Cobalt and Landscape Plate! The Molded bodyis highlighted with fine dentil gilding to the border, the finely painted central landscape shows remarkable detailing. Marked on the reverse with an impressed "2" . This fine porcelain plate was attributed by the original owner as being an example of Nantgarw or Swansea. This plate is in good condition with only wear to the enameling and gilding (as seen in the pictures). T is also a ring of worn glaze around the rim (most likely from stacking). Measuring 9.5 inches wide, this fine English Porcelain plate would be ideal for any collector of only the finest English Soft Paste and Hybrid Paste Porcelain!
