Presented is a rare and super chic Eugene Bertolli designed Napier necklace and bracelet set. This set features gold plated brass beads and cobra chains. The necklace has three strands above the decorative side elements and seven strands that drape below. The bracelet is comprised of seven strands and a box clasp. Both piece are marked Napier on the clasp.As seen in the book The Napier Company: DEFINING 20th CENTURY AMERICAN COSTUME JEWELRY by Melinda Lewis, these pieces were designed by Eugene Bertolli for Napier. You can find the exact bracelet and similar necklace on page 234.Age: circa early 1950's.Measurements: The shortest strand of the necklace measures 14.5" long from end to end (including clasp). The longest strand is approximately 20.25" long. Because of the length of the shortest strand, it is to be worn as a choker. The bracelet measures 7.5" long (including clasp) x 2" wide.Condition: This set is in overall very good condition commensurate with age. There is some light surface wear expected with age and use.
