The Richard B. Jackson Narrow Gauge Slide Collection, Set RBJ-4 originally offered by Al Chione in 1981. 100 35mm duplicate color Ektachrome slides from 1940 and later. This set includes: A = Salida (24 slides - facilities and equipment 1940-1955); B = the Monarch Branch (29 slides - 480 arriving on a caboose hop, then an eastbound limestone train); C= Rolling stock (25 slides - "Durango," "Salida," "Gunnison," coaches 210, 211, 284, 285, 300, 306, 310, 312, 319, plus freight cars); D = locomotives at Durango from 1941 on (22 slides - 271, 346, 375, 453, 473, 464, 476, 478, 480, 481, 486, 487, 488, 497, 490, 491, 493, 495, 497, 498). Color slides from this time frame are very rare, and this is a chance to own one of the largest collections in existence today. A copy of the original Al Chione list detailing each slide's title, location and date will be included.These slides were purchased in 1981, have been through a Kodak projector once, and have been in climate-controlled, dark storage ever since.
