Listed for sale is an original Heat Shield Piece for the NASA Shuttle Tile Program. On the front of this tile marks the location of the tile and on the back of the tile describes the materials and density of this tile. This Tile is a FRCI tile. This Tile was manufactured at the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space facility located in Sunnyvale, California sometime between 1970 and 1990. This is an authentic tile and will be accompanied with a letter of authenticity. This is NOT a shuttle tile that has flown....this is a non flight piece. The condition of the tile does so some chips on the edges due to the age and the fragile nature of these tiles. This is a unique offering and with the NASA Shuttle Program ending...this will only go up in value as a collectible! This item is only available for sale in the United States and must be sold to a US Citizen. Proof of Citizenship must occur before shipping. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thanks for looking at the is listing!
