Up for sale is a RARE limited production 1/40 scale model of the F-18 NASA Hornet in the Active Aeroelastic Wing configuration! This scale model was produced for NASA to commemorate the Active Aeroelastic Wing test project. It has a wing span of 12" and a length of 17 1/4". This model has all of the involved agency markings,panel line details, test program colors, and has a mirror like finish applied. It also includes a finished display stand with the aircraft description printed on the base. This model is brand new in the box and ready to ship!
