This pin should be of interest to Nash Metropolitan enthusiasts. The pin is the logo of the Metropolitan Owners Club of North America. MOCNA for short. The Metroploitan was manufactured in England for Nash and Hudsun which eventually merged to form American Motors. Hence the figures on the top of the design are the British lion and the American eagle. The Metroploitan was designed to be an economical second vehicle for suburban drivers in the 50's. The four segments within the crest represent an oil derrick (less fuel to run), an ore carrier (less steel to build), a rubber tree (small tires) and a bank book (inexpensive to buy). On the bottom of the pin is the MOCNA motto - "Motores Prudentiores" - which was rough latin for Prudent Motoring! The pin is 1 inch high and the backing is sterling silver.
