WHAT A PIECE. This National Cigar Stand lamp is truly a RARE piece....Believe this is 1915 to early 20's piece.Resembles the U.S. Capitol Building.A 1904 National Cigar match safe has this image on it.If anyone knows for sure let me know.This lamp is ALL Brass construction with Milk glass sides,ends and top. The top side pieces and inside the cylinder shape under the dome are a cherry red water glass.This is just Beautiful when lit..Has some of the original wire and all of the original hardware.It has been rewired.There are 4 outlets for bulbs inside,Two 15W in the top and two 25W in the bottom.All 4 with pull chains.When I recieved this about 10 years ago U.P.S. damaged it in shipping.One of the lower front panels got broken into a bunch of pieces.I epoxied them back together .. one end got a crack but not broken .. I epoxied that too just to make sure it did not come apart.Don't think you can even see this crack.The first picture is the broken front ... the other side is perfect.The red,white, and blue Patriotic colors are very nice.This is a big piece.The length is 23" ....It is 11" wide and it is 22 1/2" tall ... to the top of the hook.Very heavy piece.Brass,Glass and Lead.This is a great piece. ..These were bringing BIG bucks back ten years. About $3500 if you could find one.These are very rare. ... Will have to be packaged very carefully.Depending on where you live ...Expect on spending a few bucks.Pay NO mind to the automatic shipping calculator .What a great piece .. hate to see it go ...Would be great if lived in the area, you could pick it up ...
