Today I have for your bidding pleasure a one of a kind Native American Style Flute handcrafted by my husband, Award Winning Flutemaker and Musician, Douglas Thunder Horse. This flute is a museum quality, premium performance instrument. Truly a remarkable looking and playing flute. One of a kind for sure!! The voice of this flute is concert pure with a warm, welcoming spirit. Outstanding volume and clarity in this instrument with precise intonation. It is tuned in the key of Em. Excellant responsiveness and a pure joy to play. ~Sound samples available upon request~ Douglas says that this flute is a sheer pleasure to play. You can play it softly and sweetly or with little or no effort, bring it into full volume. From Douglas," a darn nice flute!" The handcarved, handpainted Northwest Coast Thunder Bird that sits atop the flute is a true masterpiece. Decorated with real horsehair and a hand carved Mother of Pearl feather. It is carved out of Eastern cedar. A real showpiece for anyones collection. The flute itself is carved from a piece of Premium Select Curly Cherry. A beautiful piece of wood with rich warm color and gorgeous grainlines. The flute is 26 1/4 inches in length and has a 1" bore. The flute is signed, dated and numbered for the year. It comes with brief, simple instructions for the playing and care of the instrument. We would like to thank everyone in the eBay community for all of the interest in our work.
