's a very old collection of Native American artifacts. I am ignorant on the subject, so please excuse me for it. I will try to describe as best I can.I recently acquired this collection stored in an old White Owl cigar box from a Florida thrift store. It contains 120 arrowheads and arrowhead fragments. Some pieces look as though they may be cutting or scraping instruments too. Many are handmarked with 4-digit numerals as if they were logged by a scientist. T is a large handwritten tag stating "Good N.Y. Arrows"; this looks to be written in an old (Victorian?) style of handwriting with an antique ink pen.T's also a small modern white envelope containing 7 more small arrowheads accompanied by another old handwritten tag stating "N.Y. Bird Points...(and what I think reads)...and ground Base Tri. (Triangular?) Forms." Photos #9 & 10 are of this group- 1 of them on the white envelope with the tag, and another close-up photo of them by themselves. These 7 are not included in the designed wide shot of the laid out pieces. Although t are other small ones in the main group, I've kept these 7 separate because that's the way I acquired them. This envelope was not closed inside the cigar box, so some may have fallen out and intermingled with the main group.T is also a large, 4" triangular-shaped stone that appears to me to perhaps be a tomahawk read more
