STUNNING NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN BEADED YOKE/COLLAR

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL INDIAN BEADED YOKE/COLLAR. I BELIEVE IT TO BE FROM 1920-1940'S. I ALSO BELIEVE IT TO BE PLATEAU INDIANS. HOWEVER, LET ME SAY, I AM BY NO MEANS AN AUTHORITY OR EXPERT ON NATIVE AMERICAN.

THIS YOKE MEASURES 8.5 INCHES IN HEIGHT WITH THE FRINGE ADDING ANOTHER 3 INCHES MAKING IT A TOTAL OF 11.5 INCHES. IT IS JUST UNDER 13 INCHES AROUND AT THE TOP OF THE NECK AND HAS TIES ON THE BACK. THE BEAD WORK IS BEAUTIFUL AND APPEARS TO BE ALL HAND DONE. THE BLACK FABRIC APPEARS TO BE A MEDIUM WOOL TYPE MATERIAL AND THE LINING AND RIBBING AROUND THE TOP APPEAR TO BE A MUSLIM TYPE MATERIAL.

THE YOKE/COLLAR IS BEAUTIFUL AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITIION TO YOUR COLLECTION. PLEAE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. LIKE I SAID I AM DEFINITELY NOT AN EXPERT IN THIS FIELD.

THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE YOKE/COLLAR ONLY, STAND NOT INCLUDED.
