Here is an old native American made basket that was in my great grandmother's collection. She was born in the late 1860s and died in 1961. She started collecting items in the 1800s so I know this old. How old and what tribe I do not know, but it has been stored in a trunk with pottery, baskets, and other native American items since the mid 20th century. I have kept these items stored away myself for over 20 years. This beautiful bowl shaped basket is in near perfect shape and is extremely well made. It shows very light signs of use but is tight and strong. It is 6.7 ounces in weight. It is 10 inches in diameter, and is about 2.75 inches tall. It will be packed very carefully. USA bids only.
