This storyteller was made by D. Trujillo of the Cochiti Pueblo in New Mexico and is approximately 5 and 3/4 inches tall . Smaller than the 12 children storyteller that is also listed. This storyteller has 6 children and makes a great companion piece for the 12 children storyteller. T are slight imperfections on her head but I imagine the stories are just as wonderously riviting. The piece is painted in the soft colors of the Southwest, soft, buttery beige and earthy terra cotta. The piece was appraised and said to have been made after the 1950's. T are felt pieces attached to the bottom of this piece so t was little wear on the bottom and the name and Pueblo are very clear. Great detail and workmanship.
