Rare Native American Water Skin Antique Buckskin water vessel is in excellent condition. Leather is still soft and pliable. The shoulder strap is 48" total length.The vessel measures approx 8" across. I do not know a lot about this piece. It did belong to my grandfather for the last fourty years and it was old when he aquired it. My gramps thinks that it may be Iroquois. The deer antler spout looks to be very old. Excellent workmanship in the braiding and stiching. Please email with any questions or helpful info.
