This Native American roadman's box from the Peyote Church is complete with: a beaded and carved rattle with whisk, a beaded fan, a wrapped and bejeweled fan, a carved and beaded stick, a carved stick and a beaded purse with herbs inside.
The ritual objects by Joseph Rice shown on page 89 of the book Peyote Religious Art, Symbols of Faith and Belief by Daniel C. Swan are nearly identical to the ones in this box. They are once more shown on pages 44 and 45 .
