NATIVE AMERICAN SIGNED POTTERY

This large collectible Native American pottery cat is from the Acoma Pueblo of New Mexico. The pottery measures approximately 11" tall x about 3.75" at the base. The signed cat figurine was created by Acoma artist Shirley Chino who is well known for creating her creative cats! Her cats were featured in the Smithsonian catalogue. The pottery is intricately hand painted and detailed with black accents. It does not have any chips or cracks. The artist, Shirley Chino, was taught by her grandmother who was a skilled Acoma artist. Shirley has been creating her Native American Art since 1976.
