Nativity NEW!!! Hand-painted, Fabric Mache, Antiqued Style In original box. The approximated size of the figures is of 12 inches . Total are 15 Figures. This spectacular nativity represents the efforts of crafts people and artist from around the world. They fashioned each figure's pose and expression from professional figure studies to create a nativity scene rich in emotion and full of splendor. Each figure was carefully cast in resin from sculpted originals; an every detail was meticulously hand-painted, from the wavy golden tresses of the angel to the textured coat of the shepherd's sheep. Then they layered each figure in striking costumes reminiscent of the era, using only magnificent fabrics and fine trims. The elegant folding screen back drop-a detail of a pastoral master piece by 16 th -century Flemish painter Paul Bril - completes the display of this inspiring and celebrated holiday story.
