I'm not exactly sure how old this set is but it looks like work done fifty years ago or more. I know the set has been in this family for at least that long. Each figure is made of bisque china and hand painted with great detail. The wonderful colors are tempered with a little antiquing giving a deep texture to each piece. You can see the eyelashes on each face - even the camels!. Great details too, see the jeweled rings on the wise men's fingers. The set has been lovingly cared for - no chips, cracks or discoloration. Excellent condition. The figures are large with the standing camels at about 7 1/2" and Mary at about 5 1/4". Seller prefers PayPal but will accept money order, cashier's check (ship immediately) or personal check (ship after check clears - 10 business days). If payment is not received within 10 days after the end of the auction, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder or relisted. See eBay text for shipping options. Returns will be accepted if you notify me by email within 3 days of receipt. The item must be returned undamaged and only after my acknowledgement. Refund amount will be less all shipping and eBay charges.
