Take yourself back2010 to 2015 years ago and imagine the humble beginnings of a figure who was to become the most famous spiritual leader, symbol of Christianity, and icon representing all that is holy in this world. Baby Jesus is born and then visited by the three kings or wise men who brought him gifts acknowledging the importance of this major moment in history – a time and place that will change the world from then until the end of time. That place of miraculous power and strength.

There are only a few pieces of stone from that very spot where Christ was born, left in the world. These powerful relics are our real, physical connection to Jesus Christ. The piece that I am auctioning is Museum Quality, sealed inside a small chamber with Royal Red Wax and has never been opened. It was passed down three generations to me from my mother, from her mother, then from her mother (my great-grandmother) who was very close with a priest who worked for Pope Paul VI back in 1970. As a gift for all the work he did for the Pope, he was given a miraculous relic that is an actual stone from the nativity of Jesus’s birthplace in Judea. This piece of stone was possibly touched by not only Mary and Joseph, but most importantly touched by Jesus Christ Himself.

This miraculous nativity stone has been blessed by Pope Paul VI and possesses great strength and power to the right person who understands the significance of it. Since I lean more towards eastern religious beliefs, I know this Holy Relic would be better off in a museum collection or with a Christian family who would really appreciate the strength this stone brings to its owner. When prayed over – my grandmother would tell me – small signs would appear and show themselves to her. When she was alive, she kept this very close to her heart. Although it would look very nice in a museum display, it would bring so much more happiness to someone who understands the significance of a powerful Holy Relic.

The stone is sealed in a brass case – with a Papal wax seal which authenticates the piece. My family never had any documentation since it was passed down directly from the Catholic priest from Vatican City to my great grandmother.
