It's an intense green with a mottled dark brown matrix, and is smooth to the touch. There are a few very tiny pits (these can barely be felt and aren't visible), as is the nature of this stone, but this material doesn't need to be stabilized unless desired. Cut and polished, it will take on a glass-like shine.This piece was purchased a decade ago from a very reputable seller here on eBay, and I'm letting it go to raise money for medical expenses.Pictured wet front and back, and dry front and back.
