Queen Conch Shell If you pay attention to design trends, you have surely noticed all of the large shells, pieces of coral and other natural touches that keep popping up as design accessories in decorating catalogs, from Ethan Allen and Williams & Sonoma to Pottery Barn. Again and again, these beautiful natural creations are used in tablescapes, as centerpieces and on bookshelves not to mention in wallpaper, linens, china, jewelry and flatware. This is a big Queen Conch shell from a large estate collection that I will be auctioning this week. Suitable for display on a table, it measures 10.5" x 8" x 7". She weighs 3 pounds! The inside is white and pink and glossy. Some of the mantle is still attached to the outside of the shell and most of the horns are sharp. We carefully cushion and pack all items to insure safe delivery. Buyer pays USPS parcel post shipping rate from zip code 19460.If you prefer an alternative shipper please contact us for a quote before you bid. We recommend purchase of insurance if using an alternative shipper. Also, multiple items can be shipped together upon request. Payment is due within 7 days of auction closing.
