This investment could not have been very popular because a number of Wesley pigs were sold to members of staff in 1998. I know this is a genuine Wesley because I obtained him directly from NatWest whilst I was working for them. The pig is in very good unmarked condition with no damage. It does not come with its original box and was not supplied to me with a compliments or authentication slip (there was no need for these, as I received my Wesley directly from Nat West while I was working for them). Because this pig is part of a limited edition, with only 5000 ever being made by Wade, it has become a target for forgeries.
