This nautical bell was purchased for my son while he was serving as a submariner in the US Navy at Pearl Harbor and was carefully packed away for the day he might want to mount it on his own home. I was recently going through carefully stored bins from my downsize from a very large home and came across this gorgeous bell among other items that there was no room for in his apartments. It's a beauty and should be owned by someone who has a place for it and will enjoy it. It has never been used. It had one little speck of a tarnish mark which came off with some brass polish. Otherwise, it was wrapped properly and is in excellent condition. Anything that looks like discloration in the photos is the high finish on the brass picking up surrounding light sources and colors, including my red hair. The bell is solid cast brass, it is 7" from the edge of the anchor to the end of the bell, and it is a total of 8.5" high from the bottom of the bell to the top of the anchor. The bell is 8" high and 6" in diameter. The anchor is 7" high and 6" at its widest.
