This Navaho hand woven wool belt purse is in excelent condition (like new with no stains or wear). This purse came from Arizona or New Mexico in the early 1900s (before 1920). The lable inside reads "CHIMAYO" ALL WOOL - HAND WOVEN HAND TAILORED. It has a satin like liner inside and a zipper with a pull chain and silver ball that has TALON printed on it. T is a tooled silver tab over the snap closer. On the back is a vertical strap to accomodate a belt.
