This lovely double-strand turquoise and heishi beaded necklace was pawned by a Native American in Gallup, New Mexico and not redeemed. It features small (~ 1/4") turquoise nuggets with streaks of dark matrix, complemented by small heishi and silver beads. I believe the silver is nickel silver, but I did not test it. This necklace is strung on solid waxed cord, and is closed with a hook-and-eye type clasp. The length of the necklace from one end to the other is 33". This necklace is in excellent condition. It certainly would have been worn by its owner on the streets of Gallup and worn in ceremonies. Please look at my other listings for additional beaded pieces and other Navajo pieces; I am always happy to combine shipping (I do not charge extra to ship the second jewelry item). This necklace will make a nice collectible or fashion accessory to wear with your favorite jeans or dress. The dead pawn items that I list are items that were pawned in New Mexico and not redeemed.
