What a fabulous modernist piece by Navajo Artist Chester J. Nez – Handcrafted

in solid Sterling Silver with a geometric look that has an organic appeal at the same time. The top is asymmetrical with a wave of silver off to one side and a large, genuine Turquoise gemstone set opposite the wave. He sides are flat; it almost reminds me of a flowing wave that has been preserved and sliced. The beautiful oval, cabochon Turquoise gemstone is bright Robin’s Egg Blue with a touch of copper matrix. It measures just under ½” (11 mm) by just under 3/8” (9 mm). It is bezel set in gleaming silver and is raised above the surface are on a silver post. The top of the cuff measures 2” by 5/8” and sits 7/8” at the tallest part. The wide band is rigid and sculpted to fit the wrist comfortably. big and bold design. This workmanship in this handcrafted cuff bracelet is incredible! –The silverwork is smooth with a polished finish. The diameter measures 2-1/4” by 1-7/8” with a gap opening of 1-1/8”.
