This fabulous rug was purchased at auction in the 1980's and was finely woven by Lillie N. Attakai. It looks like a klagetoh influence to me and measures approximately 41 x 63. The tag say Pinon, AZ. We believe it was woven in the 1970's. I found a Lillie N. Attakai listed as 91 years old and more recent addresses of Blue Gap and Chinle, AZ. There was a 1200.00 sticker on the tag, less than my friend paid, which I peeled off to find the original trading post price of 550.00. Thanks for looking.
