This is a cruise book for the USS Brooke FFG-1, a USS Brooke FFG-1 class Guided Missile Frigate.
This book cronicles the WestPac and Indian Ocean cruise of the Brooke w she patrolled the area to protect US interest in that region.

These books are getting harder to find as the years pass, All of the ships of this class have been decommisioned and disposed of.

For those unfamiliar with cruise books, they are heavily illustrated hardbacks that detail one deployment in the life of a ship. Very similar to high school yearbooks, they often have nice pictures of the ship, crew and places they visited during the trip. They are a great reference for model makers, naval enthusiasts, or historians. Of course, for someone who served on a particular ship, they would be a great remembrance!
