US Navy Gato Glass Submarine Model Revell of Germany 52" x 5" The US Navy Gato Class Submarine design was the forerunner of all US WWII submarine designs. The Gato Class Sub served in the Pacific, Caribbean and the Atlantic. Most notably in support of Operation Torch, in North Africa in 1942. Some of these subs did see action in Vietnam in 1966. The Gato was the Largest of the American Class Submarines ever built. This Submarine Model is in Great Condition and is a Nice Piece of US Navy History.
