This is a Gentex H4 helmet with a contract Number 53 - 897- F. The helmet was made by General Textiles as per the labels inside. U.S. Navy Flight Helmet with Liner Helmet: Painted Fiberglass shell with rubber edge roll Liner: Has leather liner without headphones. Size: Medium Helmet is in pretty good condition with wear consistent with age and normal use. It seems to be gold color with a green tint to it or maybe over sprayed with a green paint. The liner inside and has a name stamped inside but can't tell what it is. Please see the scan/picture below. This item and many of the others I am selling are from my personal collection which I will be selling over the next few months.
