For auctions is this NEVER USED, plug in tuning unit, range C, frequency range 1500-3000KC, manufactured by Westinhouse Electric and Manufacturing Co., Baltimore, Maryland. The tuning unit is Type Cay 47155 weighing 14.3 lbs. and the aluminum case is Type Cay 47124 weighing 4.9 lbs. This is a unit of Model GP-7 aircraft radio equipment and these items were manufactured for the Navy Dept. Bureau of Ships under contract number 74844, serial number 6605 with a contract date of June 27, 1940. This item is in excellent condition (see photos) and still retains the original unmarked calibration card as well as its original box. The aforementioned is very rare for an item of this age. Tfore, it will be a wonderfull addition to any vintage aviation collection or for use in a static display in a museum type setting. The seller is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping.
