The US Navy's Elite Counterterrorism Unit - The Naval Special Warfare Development Group was the SEAL Team that conducted the UBL raid.
I obtained these US Navy SEAL DEVGRU - Gold Team Items from a friend who lives in Virginia. These were only made in extremely limited quantities for fundraising purposes. Only about 25 shirts and hats for each team were produced. I received 6 shirts and 6 hats, representing what is left. So when they are gone, that's it! Those of you familiar with DEVGRU, apparently there are five Teams and one Team for new operators: Gold Team (Premier Assault Team) Red Team (Assault Team) Blue Team (Assault Team) Black Team (Reconnaissance Team) Grey Team (Transport Team) Green Team (New Operator Team) Gold Team apparently is their Premier Assault Team and is represented by a Lion, commonly referred to as Devgrulion. Now the important stuff. As I mentioned, I only have a few of these shirts and hats. In this auction, you get only the hat. The shirts will be listed separate and in combination with the Gold Team hats, so check back soon for the updated listing. All hats are brand new and have high quality embroidery on the front and back. The hat features the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) Lion (Devgrulion) variation looking more like a dragon with wings. The back of the hat features crossed Tridents (representing a SEAL Team) with six stars arched over the top (representing the Team's origin as SEAL Team 6) DEVGRU Team items are very hard to come by...lots of Devgrulion items on ebay, but not many from the other Teams or variations on the Gold Team... For those of you familiar with the Naval Special Warfare Foundation...every penny of these shirts and hats will go to that organization. I am a proud sponsor and want to see this go for a good cause.
