This is a black Navy Seals military beret with an olive green trident Seals Special Warfare patch sewn on it. The SEAL emblem consists of an eagle clutching a trident, anchor and flintlock pistol. This beret is vintage but I do not know the date. The beret is wool and is lined. There are two tags on the inside. One reads "Bancroft Military Caps, Cabot, Arkansas, Made in Accordance with US Military Spec A-A-55184." The other tag shows a Size 7 and indicates the hat is 100% wool and made according to military specs. This vintage beret is in very good condition with no spots, stains, or tears. This is definitely a rare collector's item.
