UK National Coal Board Training Manual 9: Underground Locomotive Driving Offered for sale is National Coal Board Training Manual 9 on Underground Loco Driving. This book was published by the National Coal Board (NCB) Industrial Training Branch in 1973, and describes how to drive locomotives in coal mines. This hardback book describes three locomotive types, the Hudswell 102 hp and 100hp Diesel locomotives and the English Electric battery electric locomotive. Maintenance, testing, law, NCB rules and regulations and safety are also covered by this training manual. I would describe the book as being in a good used condition. There is foxing on the front end papers, and foxing and slight dirt marks on the back end papers. A couple of pages have slight dirt marks on them, and the whole book is slightly curved The book measures approximately 240mm x 140mm x 9mm and the unpackaged weight is approximately 195g. Postage will be via 2nd class mail in the UK, and Airmail Printed Papers for postage outside the UK.
