A wonderful ovoid glass vase designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala Finland in 1958. Style is called "Ovalis". It has a boat-like shape with smooth sides and bottom. Design is in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art. Great mid-century modern, Eames era simplicity that is the hallmark of Scandinavian design. Signed by Wirkkala on bottom, with the notation JO26. Measures about 4" high. In excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or scratches. This piece has been prized by its owners for many years. I want my customers to be 100% satisfied. I will accept returns for any reason whatsoever and will refund your payment if the item is returned to me within 7 days of receipt by you. The box must either be unopened or returned with all shipping materials. If the reason for the return is because the item is not as described, I will pay all return shipping charges and will reimburse the original shipping charges. Otherwise, I ask that you pay for the return shipping and I will retain the original shipping charge.
