Incredible value of 220 pieces of sterling flatware made by Towle Mfg. Co. of Newburyport, MA. The first two photos of individual pieces show the place settings of which there are 12 pieces EACH (except there are 24 teaspoons and 11 fruit spoons). The next two photos show the various serving pieces including two carving sets with a knife sharpener, various serving utensils (cake knife, tomato server, cold meat forks, sauce spoons & ladles, sugar tongs, butter knife, olive spoon, pickle fork, etc.) The set weighs about 218 troy ounces (which is over 13 pounds!). Each piece is marked with the Towle trademark and "STERLING Pat. 1928." A simple, elegant pattern, unpolished, for use or as an investment!
