Ancient Egyptian Late Period, blue/green faience ushabti. The figure wears a tripartite wig and braided ceremonial beard. Both arms are crossed over the chest, with only hands exposed from beneath the suggested wrappings. Agricultural hoes are held in each hand and, suspended from a cord, a detailed seed-sack hangs over it's left shoulder. As typically seen in life sized statuary, this figure stands on a pedestal base, with a back support behind. The uninscribed figure is completely intact without any repairs or mends. The surface is only age worn and faded from time. Late Period, 27th-28th dynasty, Circa 500-400 BC Approximately 4 1/2 inches (11.3cm) tall.
