W THIS RECORD CAME FROMOur record shop, Trash American Style, opened the same day that 7 Seconds played their pivotal concert at the Anthrax. November 29, 1986. After that show, it seems every kid in Connecticut decided to form a hardcore band. We were t while that entire scene was born. Since our very first day, we have specialized in selling the best hardcore records of the time. You name it, it probably passed through our store at one time or another. We’ve catered to many serious record collectors over the years and just recently, we purchased a large collection that belonged to one of our customers. This fellow started buying hardcore records from Trash in the early 1990’s and stopped buying them in the early 2000’s. His collection also included many awesome pressings of records that were purchased directly from bands while on tour, they're quite limited and rare due to the "tour only" distribution methods used. Hundreds of records to list, goes........... Strike while the FRN is still hot! Negative Approach ORIGINAL PRESSING s/t 7" Touch & Go Records NR 13918 released 1982 Flex! Magazine says it all:"Classic early hardcore, brutal and powerful. This has been voted best Hardcore 7" ever on various Internet boards." 2nd pressing, 1000 were made. Red print on both labels. Glued, one piece cover made of heavy paperboard. Dead wax reads "NR 13198 A Re- 1" on side A and "NR 13198 B" on side B. Each side has a weird squiggle etched into the dead wax a few inches away from the catalog number. Vinyl is opaque black when held up to light. The vinyl conservatively rates a VG+ on side one and VG on side two. T are some small scuffs and light surface marks. T is surface noise between the songs, but once the tunes crank up, all surface noise is buried! The lyric sheet insert is in very good shape. T are no tears, tape, holes, or stains. The cover is fully intact and VG+. No split seams, ring wear, tears, or stains. All in all, this record is in amazingly good condition considering its age.
