This auction is for a sling psychrometer made by NEGRETTI&ZAMBRA circa 1910,(this is just a guess, from box construction). In a fitted wooden box, with a slide drawer for camel hair brushes ans spare wicks,(included) and it's own little bottle for water. Neat box, with ornate clasp.Both thermometers are obviously hand made, and are signed and serial numbered. Box is 9 3/4" long, by2 3/4" wide. Unsure of wood, but looks to be rosewood to me. I will include a chart for figuring your relative humidity. This instrument has been ultrasonically cleaned, then sparingly lubricated with moebious clock oil to provide many years of trouble free service in weather predicting aboard your vessel. Finally it has been precision calibrated in my IDEAL-AEROSMITH calibration chamber to provide complete accuracy.Check out the calibration report for assurance of accuracy.
